Usually two signals can be processed on one M12 port of I/O modules and passive distribution boxes. Sensors, however, often require only one signal. If they are connected to the port by means of a connection cable, one channel remains unused.T-couplers from Murrelektronik provide rationalization potentials. They bring two sensors together on one port. If the signals are distributed near the sensors, T-couplers help to save costs, because long connection cables are no longer required. Due to their slim design the T-couplers can be connected directly at the port of a module or a distribution box. Even on compact modules t-couplers can be connected to several ports next to each other without any problems.
Murrelektronik offers fixing brackets for the assembly. They can be fixed by means of screws or by snap in t-nuts. With just one turn they can be fixed on all common profiles. A holding clip ensures firm grip and an integrated label plate makes identification very easy.
